Masterclass and In Conversation with Steve White
Steve is one of the worlds most respected drummers, add to that the fact that his work in education has seen him recognised as one of the very best educators around & it makes for something very special. The event was completely sold out & Steve discussed the history of drums & drumming, went through some of his warm ups with everyone, doscussed various concepts and approaches & played through some great material, including material from his Steve White Trio album. We also held an in-conversation section, discussing the beginnings of his journey, what led to his first gigs before he was even 18, & how he landed the The Style Council gig as well as much more, including the tools required to work as a professional in the current climate.

The Freddie Gee Drum Academy, 25th Anniversary
2025 year saw the 25th Anniversary of the world-renowned Freddie Gee Drum Academy taking place from the 4th - 8th August at Sparsholt College, Winchester. Pat was invited to teach for the week along side Steve White, Gregg Bissonette & Craig Blundell as well as guests including Paul Dinage, Eddie Thrower, Neal Wilkinson, Andy Gangadeen, Ray Hearne, & Vince Dunn. The week was sold out, with drummers coming from all over the UK & Europe to attend.

Small Group Hands-on Masterclass with Gabor Dornyei
Our event earlier this year in April was with the great Gabor Dornyei, which we held at The Brunswick in Hove on the 27th April 2025. The session was completely sold out & with a waiting list for places. Gabor went through some of the fundamentals of good technique, drumming & music history, some great exercises for musical & technical development, then took the roof off with the performance & Q&A section.
